Fundraisers The Lyme Out Retreats are ways for people who are dealing with illness on a daily basis to get a break from their normal lives and get a chance to have a rest with people who understand. Part of having a chronic illness is having chronic medical bills to pay. Because of this, it is important to keep the cost of the retreats as low as possible so they can serve anyone and everyone who would benefit from them. In order to keep this weekend affordable for these patients who have so many medical expenses I am looking for donations to cover some costs. Fundraisers also help to keep this site going and any amount you can give is greatly apprecited. There are a few different ways you can help support these retreats. 1) Make a donation, pure and simple. Donations can be made with a credit card through PayPal: Or checks can be sent to: Annie Giddings 61 Cross Road Rochester, MA 02770 Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated! 2) Purchase a magnetic Lyme Disease awareness ribbon. These magnets are "Lyme" green and say "Learn About Lyme Disease" with the url for LymeInfo listed underneath. They cost $5.00 each and shipping is free for orders of 3 or more. (Shipping is $1.00 for 1 magnet and $1.50 for 2 magnets.) All proceeds go towards the Lyme Out Retreat scholarships and expenses. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you need them in a hurry, send a note to Annie and arrangements can be made. They are generally mailed out on Fridays so keep that in mind when ordering. (All orders must be made through Zazzle and cannot be made in conjunction with magnetic awareness ribbon orders.)
